Telford  Plaza 德福廣場

You can take the Kowloon Bay MTR Exit C to Telford  Plaza  since the shopping mall is just above the MTR station. Telford Plaza phrase I is a two story shopping mall. It is located on the platform of Telford residential buildings.

The shopping Centre offers jewelry store, sport apparels and mountain equipment, fashion stores. On the ground floor, there are several mobile device retailers and electronic appliance stores, as well as Marks and Spencer.

One thing worth noting is another Telford Plaza   (phrase II ) is located on the other side of platform. You need to take left side exit door and walk towards the escalator.

It is a much taller shopping building with 8 floors. The stores are restaurants, travel agencies, fitness centers, book stores, fast food stores, the sport equipment store Decathlon on 2nd floor, Japanese clothing MUJI , Uniqlo and etc.The food court is on the 5th floor, and several other styles of restaurants.

These stores are relatively smaller but various, and they offer multiple and comprehensive services and products to residents and working people nearby.

The MCL cinema is on the platform, instead of two malls inside. There are also restaurants, watch and jewelry stores. You can still take a walk on the platform with cover even if raining days.

A Little about Telford Plaza

In the 1980s and 1990s, roller skating was extremely popular in Hong Kong. Telford Plaza even had a roller skating rink, attracting crowds of sports enthusiasts on Saturdays and Sundays, consuming a significant portion of their youth and time.

In addition to Telford’s rink, Taikoo Shing’s City Plaza also had another, and the largest rink was at New Town Plaza in Shatin. That place is reminiscent of many people’s adolescence.
