While still working during the days, you may be busy finding Christmas gifts and place for celebrating Christmas in Hong Kong. There are several most decorated Christmas places good for taking photo this year :

Celebrating Christmas in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong: Disney “Magical Christmas”

While everyone was still wearing short-sleeved T-shirts, the Christmas spirit had already seeped into Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Outside Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, several Christmas trees had been erected, their decorations stretching from Ocean Centre to the Star Ferry Pier, a length of over ten meters.

Another good place for celebrating Christmas in Hong Kong is in Central. The large Christmas tree in Central is sponsored by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. There are two photo spots: one is the Christmas tree with several toy airplane and train displays, and the other is the Christmas market with small wooden huts, separated by a road. The market will start on November 28.

The dates are from now until January 4, 2026, and the times are from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

The daytime Christmas tree attracted even more people because it was easier and more popular to take photos. Almost everyone took out their phones for selfies, and children posed for pictures in front of cartoon characters, airplanes, and animated cartoon trains.

Furthermore, this year’s Christmas decorations were designed by the government and implemented by the Tourism Board, so the atmosphere wasn’t overly commercialized. The goal was simply to attract tourists. However, the crowded area made it difficult to find a good spot for a photo.
