Tuen Mun Town Plaza 屯門市廣場

Tuen Mun Town Plaza has three floors in total. The basement houses AEON Department Store and home appliances, while the first floor houses a supermarket. The second floor houses Marks & Spencer, MUJI, Northface, Nike, and other sporting goods stores. Women’s cosmetics and skincare stores are numerous, taking up most of the mall.

Opposite is the Waldorf  Garden Shopping Mall, which can be reached directly by a pedestrian bridge. Tuen Mun Town Plaza is located opposite the V City shopping mall, where the Tuen Mun MTR Station beneath, and can be reached by crossing two roads.

It used to be a bus terminal, but after the opening of Tuen Mun MTR Station, many bus routes were changed to terminate at Tuen Mun MTR Station.

Tuen Mun Town Plaza consists of two phases. The middle level houses AEON Department Store and a cosmetics store, along with numerous jewelry and watch shops.

This stretch of shopping malls is connected by several pedestrian bridges.

Near the exit of the sporting goods store, there’s another pedestrian bridge, connecting to three or four smaller shopping malls, including the New Town Mansion Shopping Arcade. These three-story malls offer many small shops, including mobile phone accessories, home goods stores, and fast food restaurants. At the end of the mall is a cinema.

Compared to V City Mall, Tuen Mun Town Plaza boasts a larger space, more floor space, and more shops, offering a wider selection and a better customer experience.

On both weekends and weekdays, it’s packed with tourists and nearby residents, making it extremely crowded.

Tuen Mun Trend Plaza + K-Pont

At the other end of Tuen Mun Town Plaza, it connects to two other shopping malls: Tuen Mun Trend Plaza and K-Pont which are also connected by a pedestrian bridge. This mall also houses the Citistore department store.

This shopping mall offers luggage stores and other travel goods, fast food restaurants, banks, and, of course, Chinese restaurants. It’s also close to the bus station, with buses to Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin, Kowloon City, and more (this station is the old bus terminal mentioned earlier), making it conveniently located and offering a wide variety of shops.

Tuen Mun MTR Station is a pretty new MTR station. Previously, you had to take a bus to get to Tuen Mun from Tsuen Wan, Kowloon. Now with the MTR station, Tuen Mun connects Kowloon with Hong Kong Island. With the addition of shopping malls, more people flow, and a much more lively area, the area has become much more vibrant.
