Kai Tak Sports Park, designed for large-scale sporting events, differs somewhat from typical shopping malls. Built on the site of the former Kai Tak Airport, it comprises a large indoor sports arena, three retail pavilions with other sports facilities inside. They are mainly composed of sports goods stores, restaurants and snack shops.

Kai Tak Hall                 

It is composed of two buildings with a sky bridge in the middle. The interior is mainly composed of sports goods stores, restaurants and snack shops, and there is also an outdoor badminton court and bowling field in Kai Tak 2.

The characteristic of this place is that it is spacious and it takes more than 5 minutes to walk from the subway station to the shopping mall.

The retail mall at Kai Tak 3 is of a completely different style, with a more Hong Kong-style fast food restaurant, a pizza shop, a billiard school, and a children’s taekwondo classroom on the top floor. This Mall 3 is separate from Kai Tak 1 and 2 and is a stand-alone building.

AIRSIDE and Sogo

Kai Tak Sprts Park’s main function is for sport events, such as Rugby (on Oct 24,2025) and exhibition football match (Meet and Greet with Manchester United Legend Brown + Watchalong Party on Oct 25, 2025). Besides the Park’s Halls selling sport merchandises, next to the MTR Station is another two shopping malls: AIRSIDE and Sogo. They are entirely for shopping and dining. Sogo is another Japanese department store offering the same as Causeway Bay Sogo on the Hong Kong Island side.
