You can exit Wan Chai MTR Station from A5 , go straight up the pedestrian bridge, and walk for about ten minutes to the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Exhibition Centre Station
Speaking of the Convention and Exhibition Centre, one must mention the newly built Convention and Exhibition Centre MTR station, which only opened in 2022. Located opposite the Wan Chai Ferry Pier, It’s next to a sports field and swimming pool.
The Convention and Exhibition Centre is just a short walk up to the second-floor platform.
After viewing the exhibition, you can take the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon, or go to your next destination from the Convention and Exhibition Centre Station.
Hong Kong Design Gallery at Wanchai CEC
Hong Kong Design Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Convention and Exhibition Centre. This small shop, opened by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, sells Hong Kong-designed products. In addition to some souvenirs, there are backpacks, calendars, toys and other items. Books are also available for borrowing. You can go in and browse while visiting the exhibitions.

Hong Kong Book Fair
The Hong Kong Book Fair is an annual large-scale event. This year, there are so many exhibitors and visitors that you have to queue up even when you pass the subway station foot bridge.
In fact, the Hong Kong Book Fair includes four exhibitions. The first floor is for selling and exhibiting various books, including textbooks, travel books, magazines, etc.,
Most of them are printed books. The third floor is the stationery exhibition; the fifth floor is the sports and leisure exhibition, and there is also a snack exhibition, as well as another one exhibiting small handicrafts, handicrafts made by the exhibitors themselves.
